A sporty traveler looking for some real biking adventure can vie to bike along the "Roof of the World" on aMountain Biking in Tibet trail connecting the two mystic and beautiful cities; Lhasa - a capital located at the highest altitude in the world and Kathmandu valley, the capital of Nepal.

Beginning from Lhasa (3607m), you traverse an almost 1,000km-long trail crossing six panoramic passes, enjoying the scenic landscape and the rich Tibetan culture. Depending on your individual stamina and time you can either stop biking at the border town of Kodari or continue riding up to Kathmandu.

You will be provided with support vehicles so that you can bike as per your stamina and complete the remaining journey of the day on a vehicle.

The biking trail is parallel to the north of the Himalayan range and passes through some towns like Gyantse, Shigatse and Shegar, some of which have famous monasteries.
