Pisang Peak Climbing
Pisang Peak Climbing (Ref: YTR24NMA)

Situated: The north central Himalayan region of Nepal, which is known as Annapurna himal and Pisang Peak, is one of the popular trekking peaks in Nepal, which falls in that region. The peak rises above from Pisang village and yak pastures in pyramid slope shape of ice and snow to the summit.

Approach: Following the Marshyangdi River from Besishar, Pisang peak demands enough mountaineering technical experience to scale among the other trekking peaks. The well-defined ridge leads to the final snow slop that is quite steep with huge rock slabs. We retrace the descent on the same route.

We can climb this peak combine with popular classic Annapurna circuit within 2 days from the base camp. Access to the western end of the ridge however, seems problematical as huge rock slabs guard the ridge.
