Nangbala Gokyo Trekking
Nangpala and upper route of Renjo-la to Gokyo(Ref: YTR14NP)

Nangpala valley was recently opened for the trekkers few years ago. This circuit requires special permit and it is on the border of Tibet. It is infrequent of the tourists as Everest BC. This program is extended towards Gokyo and it contains the Renjo La This is more adventurous trek with comparison with other trek of Everest region so those who are physically strong and had already good experience in trekking over the glacier are considered for this. High mountain's climbing warm clothes (down jackets, Goretex…) are required.

The Everest region also known as Khumbu offers a glimpse of the lifestyle and culture of the world-renowned mountain race Sherpas. In addition to experiencing the Buddhist Sherpa culture, you can get a proximate view of Everest (8848m) and other mountains of the Khumbu range. Indeed, trekkers will be trekking parallel to the mountain ranges from a close proximity throughout their trek.

From the vantage point of 'Pike Peak', trekkers can observe a breathtaking view of several mountains like Lhotse (8511m), Nuptse (7864m), Cho-Oyu (8201m), Makalu (8475m), among others.

High Light: Namche Bazar, the capital of Shepas, Gokyo Lake, The immense view of the mount Everest with the with the ice fall, from the Kalapathar (5545m.) and the everyday view of the prestigious summits: Amadablam (6856m), Thamserku (6608m), Pumori (7145m) and Nuptse (7879m).

Day to Day Itinerary:
Day 01 Arrive in Kathmandu: Welcome in airport and transfer to Hotel.
Day 02 Kathmandu: Free day to make formalities for the trek.
Day 03 Kathmandu - Lukla (2800 m) by plane (30min) –Phakding, 3/4hrs walking towards Phakding & O/N at lodge.
Day 04 Phakding - Namche Bazar (3446m) 5/6hrs of walk and O/N at lodge.
Day 05 Namche Bazar: Rest and acclimatization day.
Day 06 Namche - Thame: 4/5hrs of walk and O/N at lodge at 3960m.
Days 07-11 Trek Thame – Langden (4500m), Soum Nagh lake (4900m), Djasampa (5 150 m), Nangpala (5716m)
Day 12 Soum Nagh lake- Langden (4500m) – 4/5hrs of walk & O/N tent
Days 13 - 15 Trek Langden – Renjo pass (5340m) – Gokyo (4800m), Gokyo Ri (5340m) – Machhermo (4465m), Machermo - Namache
Day 16 Namche- Lukla & O/N at lodge
Day 17 Lukla – Kathmandu flight  & transfer to your hotel
Day 18 Kathmandu day free for shopping
Day 19 Departure to international airport
The Cost Includes:
  • Transfer: Airport / Hotel pick up & drop by private car/van as per group size.
  • Flight Katmandu/Lukla/Katmandu.
  • Full board basis during the trekking in tent, camping equipment will be provided such as two-men tents, dining tent, foam mattresses, stools and all cooking and kitchen gear, meals will be prepared by our kitchen staff (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea and coffee.), (Except beverage).
  • An Experienced & Professional Government license holder English speaking trained Trekking guide.
  • Entry permit for Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), Entry permit for Manaslu Conservation Area Project (MCAP),
  • Special trekking permis for Nagpala valley and Sagarmatha National park permit
  • New Trekker's Information Management System (TIMS) permit to the trekking region.
  • 4 nights in hotel Manaslu at Katmandu or Similar category on a twin sharing bed and BB basis.
  • One night at tourist class hotel in Pokhara on twin sharing basis with breakfasts
  • First aid kit will be available during the trek.
  • All personal gears and group equipments will be carried by porter i.e. (1 porter for 2 clients, one porter carry max 20 kg).
