Labuche East Peak Climbing
Labuche East Peak Climbing (Ref: YTR25NMA)

Situated: This is another beautiful and attractive trekking Peaks in Khumbu region. Labuje Peak expedition can be combined with Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Lake with Cholapass trek. The ascent of the peak is technically hard, from base camp steep climb on snow and rocky south face towards (50º) then climb towards south East Ridge. The Peak is quite striking and is reached by descending into marked notch and climbing steep snow/ice slopes to the top. So, It demands good physical fitness, well preparation and enough mountaineering technical experience to scale the peak.

Approach: The trek starts from Kathmandu with a drive to Jiri and a trek to Lukla at 2800m. This is a good way to begin as it helps to develop physical fitness and well acclimatization. However, most of the trekkers (Climbers) take a flight to Lukla and start trek follow the Dudh Khola through pine forests of Sagarmatha National park to the Everest base camp seen from near Pheriche, the dark triangle of its rocky East Face rises above the moraines of the Khumbu Glacier to an icy skyline
