
Jumla, one of the highest rice- growing areas in Nepal is located on the banks of the Tila Khola at the height of 2370 meters. Jumla and Rara Lake lies Midwestern region of Nepal. The route is very much 'off the beaten track' and we trek following the ancient salt trading route, which affords glimpses of cultures and scenery very different from the rest of Nepal. Rara Lake is one of the best destinations for trekking in midwestern Nepal. This area is surrounded by Rara National park. The clear, high altitude Rara Lake is ringed with Pine, Spruce and Juniper forests, and mirrors snow capped Himalayan peaks.
