This is the most extreme adventure circuit, which is recently explored to introduce the remote Nepali country life and mountainous people's habitant living in isolated region. There is not any road access to this region only flight from Nepalgunj or Surkhet to Jumla is available. Trek starts from Jumla via Mugu Karnali river to upper Dolpo.
Jumla, one of the highest rice- growing areas in Nepal is located on the banks of the Tila Khola at the height of 2370 meters. It holds the smaller Rara National Park with Largest Lake (Rara). After Jumla this trek begins from Mugu Karnali River, which lies in Karnali zone named after the longest river Karnali. Then the trek continues to the Upper Dolpo through Charkou pass (5100m).
Dolpo region, that culturally and naturally resembles the Mustang region, lies in the direct route between Tibet and Nepal. It offers a highly adventurous journey where you get to feel the rhythm of Chörtens, Buddhist prayer spots and watching Blue Sheep, Snow Leopard, Rabbit and Marmot in the Shey Phoksundo National Park.
