One of the circuits, which bring you into beautiful mountainous valley in the south- western flanks of Mt. Dhaulagiri, is known as Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve. This is the only reserve where licensed hunting is allowed in Nepal. It begins from 3,000 meters to 7,000 meters.
This reserve is rich in flora and fauna such as Rhododendron, Hemlock, Oak, Juniper and Leopard, Himalayan Black Bear, Barking Deer, Wild Boar respectively.
After crossing the reserve the circuit bring us towards the surrounded valley by Dhaulagiri and Tibet from south and north respectively to Dolpo a Hidden valley of Mystery, Scenery and Peace. This trekking is for combination of natural and cultural phenomena that is enriched by the traditional Tibetan cultural heritage.
Dolpo region, that culturally resembles the Mustang region, lies in the direct route between Tibet and Nepal, along the Salt road. It offers a highly adventurous journey filled with total newness beyond your envisage. Untouched and uninfluenced by the external world, Dolpo is one region where you can observe the most primitive forms of human lifestyle.
