Chulu west Peak Climbing (Ref: YTR30NMA)

Situated: The north central Himalayan region of Nepal, which is known as Annapurna himal. Chulu West Peak is one of the popular trekking peaks in Nepal, which falls in the region. The peak rises above from Ledar and yak pastures in pyramid slope shape of ice and snow to the summit. We can climb this peak combine with popular classic Annapurna circuit.

Approach: The route takes us through the Annapurna classic circuit trail, up to Ledar. We leave Ledar and proceed towards 4600m for settlement of base camp then camp I at the plateau (5100m) above the rock. Then go along the secondary ridge followed by a glacier, where we can settle an advanced camp. The route is technically easy but slow, which is long, that leads us to the summit, however, all the peak require enough mountaineering technical experience to scale the trekking peaks.

Day 01 Arrive in Kathmandu. Welcome in the airport and transfer to Hotel.
Day 02 Kathmandu: Free day. Preparation day for peak permit
Day 03 Kathmandu - Beshisahar - Bhulbhule (800m), 7/8hrs in bus. O/N at camp or lodge.
Day 04 Bhulbhule - Jagat (1300m) 6/7hrs of walking O/N at camp or lodge
Day 05 Jagat - Dharapani (1900m) 6/7hrs of walking O/N at camp or lodge
Day 06 Dharapani - Chame (2700m) 5/6hrs of walking O/N at camp or lodge
Day 07 Chame -Pisang (3300m), 5/6hrs walking O/N at camp or lodge.
Day 08 Pisang - Manang (3540m) 6/7hrs walking O/N at camp or lodge.
Day 09 Manang Acclimatization
Day 10 Manang- Chulu Bace camp (5000m) 5/6hrs of walk O/N at camp
Day 11-15 Climbing period of Chulu west (6400m.)
Day 16 Chulu Base camp - Phedi (4400m), 5/6hrs of walk and O/N at camp or lodge
Day 17 Phedi- Muktinath (3800m), Thorong La Pass (5416m.) 8/9hrs of walking O/N at camp or lodge
Day 18 Muktinath-Jomsom (2700m) 4/5hrs of walking O/N at or lodge
Day 19 Jomsom-Pokhara 20min flight O/N hotel

The Cost Includes:
