Trek Bigu Gompa Nepalese trail (Ref: YTR27NP)
Bigu Gumba route is appropriate for trekkers opting for an easy cultural trek, which can be combined with rafting and cycling for more sportive trekkers. The trek starts from Charikot after a day's bus ride from Kathmandu. It goes along the Tamang, Brahmines and Chhetries villages and lush green forests before terminating at Barhabise, a border town with Tibet. On the way you will pass the Bigu Gumba, a monastery with nuns only. On the way back, you can choose to raft, cycle, bus ride or combine the events. Rafting is available along the Bhotekoshi river from Barhabise to Dolalkhat. You can complete the remaining journey either on a bus or a bi-cycle. You could also choose to complete the entire or part of the return journey on bicycle.

Day to Day Itinerary:
| Day 01 | Arrival at the airport. Reception and transfer to the hotel, O/N in hotel. |
| Day 02 | Kathmandu: Free day, preparation for trekking O/N in hotel. |
| Day 03 | Depart pour Charikot (1950 m) to Dolakha (1900 m), a village of Newar about 6hrs bus drive and O/N in camp. |
| Day 04 | Dolakha - Piguti (1020 m) 5/6 hrs walk and O/N in hotel. |
| Day 05 | Piguti - Sarang Khola (1300 m) 5hrs of walk and O/N in hotel. |
| Day 06 | Sarang Khola - Bigu Gompa (2450 m) 6hrs of walk and O/N in hotel. |
| Day 07 | Bigu Gompa - Tingsang La (3300 m) 5hrs of walk and O/N in hotel. |
| Day 08 | Tingsang - Karthali (1900m) 5hrs of walk and O/N near to a village. |
| Day 09 | Karthali - Arigal Danda - Barabise – Dhulikhel (1700m) 3hrs of walk, 2hrs30min bus drive and O/N near to a village. |
| Day 10 | Dhulikhel - Namo Boudha - Panauti (1500m) 6hrs of walk and camp on hill "Jogi danda". |

The Cost Includes:
- Transfer: Airport / Hotel pick up & drop by private car/van as per group size.
- Transportation: Kathmandu/Charikot traveling by private reserve
- Full board basis during the trekking in tent, camping equipment will be provided such as two-men tents, dining tent, foam mattresses, stools and all cooking and kitchen gear, meals will be prepared by our kitchen staff (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea and coffee.), (Except beverage).
- An Experienced & Professional Government license holder English speaking trained Trekking guide.
- New Trekker's Information Management System (TIMS) permit to the trekking region.
- 4 nights in hotel Manaslu at Katmandu or Similar category on a twin sharing bed and BB basis.
- First aid kit will be available during the trek.
- All personal gears and group equipments will be carried by porter i.e. (1 porter for 2 clients, one porter carry max 20 kg).
- Staffs Insurance.
The Cost Exclude:
- Lunches and dinners in Katmandu (Near about $US 10 – 15 per day/person)
- Nepal entry Visa Fee (You can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Nepal ’s Airport in Katmandu).
- International Airfare and Airport Taxes.
- Entrance fees in the Historical site /Monument at KTM.
- Any kind of Alcoholic, hot and cold drinks or bar menu.
