Manaslu is lie in the mid northern Tibet border of Nepal within Gorkha District, This region has just been opened to visitors finally permits all to really enter the mythical universe of living Tibetan tradition. Gorkha is a small independent state from where the unification of modern Nepal began is the starting point of the trek. The Gurung village of Laprak is reached by two different routes; either along the Daraundi valley or the hillside of Dharchey.
Dharchey is a magnificent panoramic view point to admire the
lofty mountain summits like Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Buddha Himal, Himalchuli, Annapurna and so on. After Laprak, we follow Budhi Gandaki valley, the trail continue northward passing through many villages of the Tibetan origin. These villages offer an opportunity to explore their customs and cultures, monasteries, prayer flags, prayer wheel and prayer walls.
